The CONECA Master List (CML) is a numbering system used to attribute varieties in all denominations.
The CML was maintained for 10 years by Dr James Wiles and was part of his site varietyvista.com. Varietyvista.com is Dr Wiles private site and represents his own personal work, not the CONECA Master List. The CONECA Master List was accessed from an upper left menu that took you to pages that looked like the example image below. These text only pages were the complete CONECA Master List until it’s pages were removed at the end of 2020 to avoid any future confusion as the CML expanded and changed.
For the last year CONECA has been sorting through the 190,000+ image files and converting the 100s of older html text files we were given. Final steps then merge text and images to create the site you are now on. Data base driven infrastructure allows access to our information through all devices and phones and will allow us to seamlessly update as internet infrastructure changes in the coming years.
We hope you enjoy and can appreciate the immense amount of time and effort our volunteers have put into this project. We appreciate your patience and we’ll continue to add all denominations as they are processed.
